OREANDA-NEWS Singer Andrey Gubin told RIA Novosti that he currently does not write songs for other artists for royalties, but sometimes gives them his compositions, hoping that they will be able to unlock their potential.
"The financial component, of course, influences the choice of the composer who should write the songs. But not with me. I give my songs to some people just like that, as a gift, because the song is good. Someone will ruin it, and another artist will revive it," he said, answering a question about whether he writes songs to other artists.
The singer noted that now his main income is the money he received for filming commercials. "I have enough of them to somehow live and exist," he added.
