OREANDA-NEWS  Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva announced her engagement to dancer and choreographer Ildar Gainutdinov on her Instagram page (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

In the video, Gainutdinov proposes to her. As Medvedeva wrote, it happened on November 7.

Gainutdinov and Medvedeva took part in the show "Star Dances" on the TNT channel together. They declassified their relationship in the summer of 2025.

25-year—old Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the 2018 Olympic Games, the figure skater won two silver medals - in the team competition and in the individual competition. In 2021, she announced that she had effectively retired.

24-year—old Gainutdinov is a soloist of the Todes show ballet. He also participated in projects on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater.
