OREANDA-NEWS  A diversified business mission under the Made in Russia brand has opened in Dubai, it is supported by the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.Russian Federation), the center reports.

"Companies offering solutions in the field of education, IT and tourism, as well as representatives of the creative industries, came to look for partners in the UAE with the support of the REC," the message says.

In total, 29 Russian companies present their products and services under the Made in Russia brand. Potential partners from the UAE and other countries of the Middle East will be able to evaluate such domestic solutions as, for example, software for financial companies, a biometric facial recognition platform and a neural laboratory, digital twins and robotic complexes, a platform for organizing esports competitions and IT solutions in the field of industrial production and training.

Russian entrepreneurs also promote services in the field of architectural and landscape design, design and branding of territories on business missions.

"Today, the role of the United Arab Emirates as a regional center for cooperation with the Middle East and North Africa region as a whole is clearly visible. Russian industrial companies have been actively using the Emirates market for trade with neighboring countries for several years. In this regard, both the Russian IT sector and companies from the creative industry, education, and tourism are doing a lot of work, including using state support mechanisms, to establish lasting and mutually beneficial cooperation with Middle Eastern partners. The REC Group, in turn, provides maximum support to interested Russian companies within the framework of the services available in our arsenal," said the representative of the REC in the UAE, Najibullo Jabbori, on the sidelines of the business mission.

The mission was launched by the thematic session "Russia-UAE: new opportunities and prospects for cooperation in the field of IT technologies, education, tourism, and the creative industry", during which the mission participants figured out the specifics of entering the UAE market.

The session was attended by Russian Trade Representative in the UAE Andrey Terekhin, representatives of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the UAE Ministry of Economy, as well as experts from the country's business community.

As part of the business mission, Russian companies will visit technology hubs, creative clusters in Dubai and relevant ministries: Dubai Internet City (DIC), Dubai Silicon Valley (DSO), UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, UAE Ministry of Education, UAE Ministry of Culture and Youth.
