OREANDA-NEWS  Russian retailers have opened pre-orders for new flagship Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphones with artificial intelligence (AI) and a camera with Pro Visual algorithms for mobile photography, and smart watches are also available for ordering, a RIA Novosti correspondent found out.

The Fold line will be available in three colors– blue, gray, and black, while the Flip is available in black, blue, and coral. Smartphones have become the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z series. In the seventh generation of phones, the screen area has been increased and the aspect ratio has been changed, and the 1.25 mm thick external display frame has no protrusion. Device memory ranges from 128 GB to 1 TB.

AI now runs in the background, remembers user habits and adapts to them: from shooting and processing content to managing tasks. The new features include Gemini Live, which allows you to point your smartphone's camera at an object of interest and request information about it from the voice assistant.

The Inventive Retail Group (which manages the retail chains restore:, Galaxy Store, World of Cubes and a number of others), M.Video-Eldorado, MTS and Megafon told RIA Novosti that they opened a pre-order during the presentation. Prices for smartphones start from 69.99 thousand rubles and reach 219.99 thousand rubles, for smart watches - from 25.99 thousand rubles and up to 59.99 thousand rubles. At the same time, direct sales should begin on July 22.

Marketplaces also talked about plans to sell new gadgets. So, starting today, pre-order of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 begins on Ozon - delivery of the first devices is scheduled from July 22. Wildberries starts selling on July 10th.

In March 2022, Samsung suspended the supply of its goods to Russia, explaining this by current geopolitical events and the physical impossibility of carrying them out. At the same time, the brand's devices were included in the list of goods allowed to be imported into the country as part of parallel imports.
According to MTS, in total, 43,000 folding devices worth 4.5 billion rubles were sold in the Russian smartphone market in the first half of 2025, which is an increase of 36% in quantitative terms and 35% in monetary terms compared to January-June 2024.
