OREANDA-NEWS By this year, Russia intends to double the share of domestic electronics in the domestic market, and by 2030 to increase it to 70%, said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

Speaking at the government hour in the Federation Council, Manturov stressed that the strategic focus is on overcoming dependence on foreign technologies throughout the chain of electronic products.

In particular, he said that over the past year alone, the production of more than a thousand electronics products has been mastered, PRIME reports.

Manturov also added that Russia is mastering the production of technological equipment for lithography, etching and growing crystals used for the production of electronics.
