On May 03, 2007 IBS, the leader in the Russian market of consulting services and information technologies, started developing a service centre for the new multifunctional seven-storey complex of Lotte Plaza in Moscow, reported the press-centre of IBS. The service centre where all IT resources of the complex will be concentrated including the trading centre and A class offices will be arranged in the special premises in compliance with all up-to-date standards of advanced IT infrastructure. IBS is chosen as a contractor by the tender results. Lotte Group, the largest South Korean investment company, is a customer.

The service centre will be equiped with the following systems:
self-sufficient climate control system,
fire alarm system,
automatic gas supression system,
access control system,
structured cabling system,
power-supply system (including the system of uninterrupted power supply),
surveillance system.


The mentioned facilities provide computational resources with necessary protection from unauthorized access, vandalism, fire, corrosive gases, electromagnetic radiation, explosions, dust, magnetic fields and other kinds of threats. The service centre’s premises will be connected up to the external communication channels and to the internal cable network. According to Leonid Genkin, Commercial Director, IBS Projects Centre, "Great demand for such solutions in the market is conditioned with permanently increasing requirements of retail sector for the process of business continuity, reliability of data storage, processing and access. These requirements may be fulfilled only by combination of program solutions, high-capacity servers and use of special platforms for their secure and continuous operation".
