OREANDA-NEWS. On July 26, 2007 the Expert Council on Developing Competition in the Social Sphere and Health Care, of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), held a meeting, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS Russia took into account the information presented by Deputy Director of the Department of State Economic Regulation, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Ms N.N. Antipina; the Head of the FAS Russia Administrative Division, Ms L.V.Solontsova; the Head of the FAS Russia Department on Supervision of the Social Sphere and Commerce, Mr T.V.Nizhegorodtsev; the Executive Director of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Mr V.G.Shipkov; and an independent expert Ms S.S. Zavidova, on the problems and possible improvements of paid services offered by Federal Services and Agencies of the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development, their territorial bodies and subordinate federal state unitary enterprises.

Members of the Expert Council decided to:

1. Form a working group comprising representatives of trade unions, associations, FAS Russia and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development for developing proposals on improving the system of paid services, offered by Federal Services and Agencies of the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development, their territorial bodies and subordinate federal state unitary enterprises.

2. Comment on the proposal of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development on compiling a list of paid services (carrying out expertise, issuing certificates, approvals, etc.) offered by Federal Services and Agencies of the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development (their territorial bodies) and subordinate federal state unitary enterprises.
