OREANDA-NEWS. On August 01, 2007 Joint-Stock Company “Belpromstroibank” (JSC “BPS-Bank”) signed the Framework Agreement with the syndicate of German banks with Dresdner Bank as the Lead Arranger for the amount of EUR 125 million, reported the press-centre of JSC “BPS-Bank”.

The syndicate consists of Dresdner Bank AG, AKA Ausfuhrkreditgeselschaft mbh., BHF-Bank AG, Landesbank Berlin AG.

In accordance with the terms and conditions of the Framework Agreement, the funds can be borrowed by the Belarusian bank under the guarantee of the Government of the Republic of Belarus by means of individual loan agreements to finance supply of industrial goods to the Republic of Belarus.

The loans shall be granted for the purpose of financing import from countries where the respective export credit agencies are ready to provide insurance cover on such loans in favour of the syndicate of German banks. Up to 85% of the relevant contract value can be financed through loans, as well as 100% of the insurance cover costs. The minimum amount of a contract shall be EUR/USD 2 million.
