OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2007. Responding to the changes in the Lithuanian money market, DnB NORD Bankas will pay higher interest for deposits starting 20th of December. Deposits in litas placed via internet will enjoy the highest interest increase – the average rate will go up by 0,60 percentage point on average, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Bankas.

Starting Thursday DnB NORD Bankas interest for term deposits in litas will increase by 0,40 percentage point on average, e.g. the interest for one-year term deposits in litas will increase to 5,75 percent. The rate for a similar deposit placed via DnB NORD Internet Banking system will go up to 5,95 percent.

DnB NORD Bankas will also pay higher interest for up to six month maturity deposits in Euros. The US dollar deposit rates at the bank will remain unchanged.
