OREANDA-NEWS. On January 08, 2007 Bank CenterCredit JSC (Almaty), shares and bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list had provided KASE with the press-release of next contention, reported the press-centre of KASE:

On December 14, 2007 Bank CenterCredit JSC (Bank) had signed the agreement with National City Bank about borrowing of loan for amount of $30 m. under security of state Agency of US government OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation). Borrowed funds will be directed on development of retail business of Bank. Financing was provided to the Bank for 7 years' term with 2 years' privileged period for maturity of main debt.

Corporation OPIC was created in year 1971 as agency of United States government for providing of help to American companies in the field of foreign investments. Currently OPIC is acting in more than 150 countries of the world.

Given deal was the second loan for Bank. Borrowed under security of OPIC, after enclosed in year 2005 transaction for amount of $9 m. with Wachovia Bank for financing of small and middle business and retail segment.

"Deal with National City Bank was planned beforehand for second half of year and executed in accordance with plans, despite significant reduce of access for Kazakhstan banks to international capital markets, - Mr. Vladislav Lee, the Chairman of Board of Bank CenterCredit JSC had noted". - It had proved again, that CenterCredit is perceived by foreign partners as stable financial institution with reliable reputation and weighted policy".

As of October 1, 2007 Bank CenterCredit JSC had taken 6-th place among banks of Kazakhstan by size of assets (KZT910,8 bn.). Shareholders capital was equal to KZT66 bn., income, received by the bank for 9 months of year 2007 made KZT10,3 bn.

Bank CenterCredit JSC has inetrnational ratings from agencies "Moody's": "Aa1" and "Fitch Ratings": AA-.
