OREANDA-NEWS. On February 07, 2007 the document was signed within the framework of Moldovan-Russian business forum "Moldova-Russia: Partnership development. New opportunities” in Chisinau, reported the press-centre of TIC of Moldova.

The document was signed by the Vice President of TIC of Russia Ivan Gorelovsky and the President of TIC of Moldova - Gheorghe Cucu. They noted that new agreement of cooperation between TIC of Moldova and Russia reflects new stage of development of relations between two chambers, a significant change in the market conditions and new forms of interaction. The cooperation agreement between TIC of Moldova and Russia is adapted to the current conditions of interaction.

Gheorghe Cucu and Ivan Gorelovsky expressed confidence that this agreement will give a new impetus to the development of Russian-Moldovan cooperation, will be able to diversify forms of interaction between TIC of both countries and will boost mutually beneficial trade-economic cooperation, including the one at the regional level.

The legal basis for cooperation between TIC of both countries was the bilateral cooperation agreement signed on November 3, 1993 and subsequently two chambers concluded a number of multilateral agreements. TIC of Moldova has paid considerable attention to development of inter-chamber cooperation with the Trade Chamber of Russian Federation at the regional level.

Thus, 37 agreements with the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as a number of Russian territorial chambers have been signed: Moscow TIC, Northern TIC, TIC Chuvashia; Altay TIC, Tambov Regional Chamber, Saratov TIC, TIC Rostov region, St. Petersburg TIC and TIC of Tatarstan.
