OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2008. A store chain of Belarusian goods is expected to be set up in St. Petersburg. It may include around 50 stores, Vice Premier of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov made the statement during a session of the Business Cooperation Council of Belarus and St. Petersburg which was held in the northern capital of Russia, reported the Official website www.government.by.

According to specialists, the Belarusian goods are not widely presented in St. Petersburg’s trade network so far, though they are in popular demands among the buyers of the Russian region.

The session has made a decision to develop the special programme on setting up the chain of stores of Belarusian goods in St. Petersburg.
