On 20 February 2008 was announced, that from 23 to 27 February 2008 an international specialized exhibition EuroShop 2008 will be in the territory of the exhibition centre in Dusseldorf in Germany. One of the organisers of the exhibition for the 16th time is an Institute of Retail Trade EHI.

EuroShop is to be called the main event in the retail industry, despite the fact that the exhibition is held once every 3 years. First EuroShop was held in 1966 under the theme: "Modern shops and showcases" and has been held for over 40 years EuroShop - #1 event in the world market not only through exhibitions, but also in the international focus of its work.

According to the organizers, the exhibition area of over 100000 sq. exposure meters over 1800 companies from 50 countries will be presented. Visitors will be presented an overview of the most important trends in the trade, taking into account the changes which have taken place in recent times. No exhibition in the world is able to take 100 thousand specialists in such a short period, as did EuroShop 2005.

At the exhibition specialized congresses will be organized by EHI: Eighth Conference on innovation for retail, retail-day European technology and design conference for retailers and others.
