OREANDA-NEWS. March 04, 2008. Now the clients signing up for life insurance contracts under the Lifestyle or ABC of Protection programs may insure themselves against the risk "Primary Diagnosis of Critical Diseases" by adding this risk into the basic list of insured risks, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Insurance coverage of such diseases as cardiac infarction, stroke, renal impairment, cancer, blindness, paralysis, multiple sclerosis, etc. has long been widespread in many countries throughout the world, serving as a source of financial aid to those who face such diagnoses.

Today, certain diseases recently known as terminal can already be treated; yet such treatment is still accompanied by protracted loss of working capacity, involving substantial monetary costs not reimbursed under the social security program and traditional voluntary medical insurance policies.

Allianz ROSNO Life covers a wide range of 12 diseases, including cancer, infarction, stroke, renal impairment, blindness, multiple sclerosis, etc. In case the client is diagnosed with any disease from the abovementioned list, as well as if there is a need in coronary artery grafting or transplantation of vital organs, Allianz ROSNO Life will pay the contractual amount sufficient to cover the costs of treatment, nursing services, and expenses incurred during the recovery and rehabilitation period.

Such insurance policy will be valid for the entire duration of the underlying life insurance program subscribed for by the client. The minimal insurance period under the Lifestyle and ABC of Protection programs is 5 years and 1 year respectively, while the maximum insurance period is 30 years under both programs.
