OREANDA-NEWS. Domestic oil output increased by 0,6% y/y to 79,9mn tons in Jan-Feb 2008, the EconMin said on Mar 28.

The leader in the reporting period was Rosneft, which produced 23,3% of total oil output for the reporting period. Oil exports in the first two months of 2008 went down by 5,3% y/y to 38,6mn, exports to non-CIS countries decreasing by 7,7% y/y to 32,9mn tons and exports to CIS countries growing by 10,8% y/y to 5,7mn tons.

Average price of Urals blend oil amounted to USD 90,6/barrel in the reporting period, up by 74,6% y/y. Domestic oil refining in Jan-Feb went up by 5% y/y to 39,1mn tons (48,9% of total oil output refined vs. 46,9% in Jan-Feb 2007).

As reported earlier, according to the Industry and Energy Ministry domestic oil and gas condensate output increased by 0,9% y/y to 80,105mn tons in Jan-Feb 2008.
