OREANDA-NEWS. April 9, 2008. As part of realizing its strategy for 2008, Bank Electronika has concluded leasing agreements for the supply of special-purpose armored vehicles for the transportation of cash and valuables. The vehicles will come from domestic and foreign manufacturers. Their value exceeds 45 million rubles.

Bank Electronika’s Encashment Service has transported the monetary resources of company-clients of the Bank and of other lending institutions since 2002. The activities of the Encashment Service are being expanded, as is its presence in the regions. An important aspect of the work of the service is that all forms of transportation of material valuables are insured.

Alexander Filippov, Executive Director for Bankwide Support Services at Bank Electronika, remarked: “Our Bank offers a broad range of operations with valuables in Moscow and other cities of Russia. We make these services available to banks and to our clients – legal entities and individuals. Flexible tariffs ensure a differentiated approach in work with clients and facilitate the service’s use by clients with various levels of turnover in monetary resources. Expansion of the encashment fleet will enable the Bank to broaden its services in 25 regional centers, guarantee cash liquidity for more than 200 regional divisions, and increase the total volume of cash and valuables transported during 2008.”
