OREANDA-NEWS. On April 24, 2008 Ukio bankas joined Service Quality Association (SQA). The Bank became Association’s full member, having the right of using all information and services provided by this organization as well as participating in SQA’s management, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

“Ukio banko membership of the Service Quality Association shows our objective to strengthen our positions among business organizations providing the best services to customers. We believe that as a member of this Association we will able to efficiently contribute to the development of still higher service quality standards, which will help Lithuania become a leading state in the field of customer service,” Rasa Cesoniene, Director of Ukio bankas Client Service Quality Department, said.

In her words, under conditions of increasing competition, focus on the client and his individual financial needs will become one of the key competitive advantages in the market. With this aim in view, Ukio bankas plans to continue improving various client service and loyalty programs, to provide different segments of clients with important product solutions and organize training for client service specialists.

SQA was founded by the companies Omnitel, SEB Bank, Lietuvos Draudimas and the project GerasAptarnavimas.lt with the aim to make Lithuania a leading country by client service quality in the whole Eastern and Central Europe. The Association’s major concerns are the improvement of customer service quality in the country, the popularization of an excellent service idea, and the cooperation and information exchange with client service specialists, business and public organizations, public authorities and the society.

One of SQA’s best-known projects is Pagirk gera aptarnavima! (Praise Good Service!) campaign, this year held for a 3rd year in a row in Lithuania. The project’s results were not disappointing: Lithuanians have received far more praises than the neighbouring Latvia and Estonia. Last year the secret buyer investigation that took place simultaneously with the Praise Good Service campaign showed that Ukio bankas was among the ten best companies of Lithuania.
