OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 May 2008 was announced, that about 40 schools are to be built in Moscow yearly since 2011 that are twice as many as in the current year, Vladimir Resin, head of Associate board of architecture, construction, development and reconstruction of Moscow, declared.

“If now we build 20-22 schools per year, then we will build 40 schools in 2011. The main part among them will be erected in the central part of the city where the dilapidated schools are to be demolished,” Mr Resin (left photo) said at the opening of the exhibition of the updated general plan of development of Moscow till 2025 running within the framework of the first Moscow Architecture Biennale.

According to the official, Moscow will keep building a lot of housing and social objects including schools, kindergartens, hospital and clinics.
