OREANDA-NEWS. On 1 August 2008 was announced, that the Moscow City Government believes its joint construction projects with Minsk will be completed in the Belarus capital in due time.

“Moscow and Minsk have launched and continue organizing the large-scale construction of social objects in Belarus. I am sure the work will be completed in the scheduled date. I see no reasons which can foil our plan,” Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow City Mayor, declared during a meeting with Sergey Sidorsky, Prime Minister of Belarus.

Mr Resin emphasized that House of Moscow in Minsk was to be commissioned in 2008. “The hard work is to take place. The ground floor has been completed. There is enough time to have the project implemented by the end of the year,” the official said.

Mr Sidorsky confirmed in turn that the Government of Belarus supported all construction projects by the Moscow City Government in Minsk.

Talking about the development project called Minsk-City set to be implemented in the Belarus capital, the first deputy Moscow City Mayor noted that he hadn’t seen such a well-prepared building site for a long time. Its huge area of more than 300 ha amazed Mr Resin. According to him, Moscow’s experience in the development of MIBC Moskva-City can be used during the construction of Minsk-City to avoid the possible mistakes.
