OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2008. Alliance Bank supported the “25 mass media head liners” project started by Emerald Town event agency, reported the press-centre of Alliance Bank.

Almaty saw presentation of the catalogue and opening of the street exhibition called the “Best Journalists Tell about Confidence.”

According to Raziya Khassanova, Director of Emerald Town, “such projects are always exciting and interesting to people, and we have dreamt to issue a catalogue with the photos of the most outstanding journalists. We wanted Kazakhstani people to be familiarized with those who are “behind-the-scenes,” “microphone-speakers”, whose names are put beneath the brilliant newspapers’ and magazines’ articles. In addition, to my mind, such exhibitions make our city even more friendly and comfortable.”

“In these days we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of Alliance Bank. We have gone our way ascending from a small regional bank to the financial institution which ranks among the five top Kazakhstani banks. We believe that the present success stems from our adherence to Five Principles: Confidence, Fairness, Development, Soundness, and Political Indifference, which have always underlain the Bank’s philosophy.

The cornerstone principle in the course of the Bank’s history is Fairness. At present, our world outlook is taking its shape mostly due to the mass media influence. For mass media as well as for any bank confidence is a must. This is precisely why we have made the decision to support the “25 mass media head liners” project as a part of the celebration of the15th anniversary of our Bank. Our purpose was to help audience gain the knowledge of what mass media think of themselves, of their profession, and of trust of the observers and readers towards them,” said Erik Sultankulov, Alliance Bank’s CEO.

The project’s organizers express their regret that only 25 participants have been enrolled in the catalogue so far, though the number of journalists who are worthy of being mentioned in the catalogue is several times more. However, people from Emerald Town are hopeful that next year they will manage to realize another project and ensure that more mass media persons are listed in the catalogue.
