OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2008. Taking into account changes on international and domestic money markets DnB NORD Bankas, a member of international banking group shall change rates on term deposits to individual and corporate customers, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Bankas.

Starting November 11th AB DnB NORD Bankas shall pay 0.17 percentage point higher time deposit rate on average for term deposits in Litas for individual customers. Term deposits in Litas, which have a period longer than one month, shall see the most significant increase.

For term deposits in US Dollars AB DnB NORD Bankas shall pay to individual customers 0.47 percentage point lower rates on average starting November 11th . Short term deposits in this currency shall have the lowest interest rates.

AB DnB NORD Bankas will pay 0.25 percentage point premium on standard rates on deposits placed via Internet so, for example, the annual rate for one-year time deposit in litas for individual customers will increase up to 6.85 percent.

The shortest term to park deposit in AB DnB NORD Bankas is two days when using the bank’s internet banking system and seven days when placing the deposit in the bank’s outlet.

Customer deposits held within AB DnB NORD Bankas are secured by the state company “Deposit and Investment Insurance” in accordance with the Law on Insurance of Deposits and Liabilities to Investors of the Republic of Lithuania.
