OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2008. IBA and the Department of Information Science of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) have opened a joint IT laboratory of practice and production. Located in a BSUIR building, the laboratory is equipped with 19 workplaces, reported the press-centre of IBA.

The opening ceremony took place in Minsk. Alexander Martinkevitch, High-Tech Park Deputy Director; Mikhail Batura, BSUIR Rector; Boris Nikulshin, BSUIR Provost; Ivan Vrublevski, IBA HR Director; and Ivan Piletski, Deputy Director of the IBA eBusiness Department and the laboratory chief, participated in the event.

For IBA, cooperation with universities is among focus areas. IBA and BSUIR started their collaboration more than 10 years ago. In this laboratory, IBA will be able to conduct specialized IT courses and workshops, launch training projects and other events for the BSUIR students.
