OREANDA-NEWS. By request of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine from January 23, 2009 fares for public transport will be reduced. It was officially confirmed in a letter of Kyiv municipal state administration received by Antimonopoly Committee.

Kyiv municipal state administration, communal enterprises Kyiv Metropoliten and Kyivpastrans have obliged to decrease the price of underground tokens to 1.7 UAH, while fares for trolley-buses, trams and buses – to 1.5 UAH.
