OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 January 2009 was announced, that one tourist killed in the road accident in Egypt on December 22 this year and one injured tourist are insured by IJSC Ingosstrakh.

Natalia Subaeva, year of birth 1979, who was injured in the road accident in Egypt, is Ingosstrakh’s client under the program that extends health insurance to tourists travelling abroad. After the accident she was taken to Sharm International Hospital, where she has been receiving the necessary medical treatment. The specialist team of Ingosstrakh and the service company are in contact with the hospital to coordinate the medical treatment of the patient. The hospital has received a letter of guarantee from the insurance company as a confirmation that the insurer will cover all costs related to the medical treatment required vt the injured tourist.

Mikhail Zernov, born in 1978, who was killed in the accident, was insured by Ingosstrakh as well. The company extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of all deceased.

According to preliminary information, the injured tourists and the bodies of the victims will be carried to Russia by the airplanes of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the near future.

Earlier we wrote that a tourist coach with Russian tourists on board overturned near the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Dahab on December 22, 2009. The coach was going to Sharm el Sheikh. According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, seven tourists were killed, including six Russian citizens, all from St. Petersburg, and one Ukrainian. There are 12 Russians on the injured list.
