OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 February was announced, that the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) found that the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Natural Resources and Ecology (Minpriroda Russia) violated the Federal Law "On State and Municipal Procurement of Goods, Works and Services".

The case was initiated upon a petition of "Kordon-А" Ltd., a private security firm. The Petitioner stated that the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Natural Resources and Ecology had violated the law in an open tender for the security services in the building of Minpriroda Russia.

The Petitioner complained that the Tender Commission had failed to forward the draft government contract to the company. Instead the Petitioner received the Protocol on refusal to conclude the government contract, where the Tender Commission stated that the Petitioner's bid had contained incorrect information.

Investigating the case, the FAS Russia's Commission verified that the petition had not contained incorrect information, and the Ordering Party had unlawfully failed to forward the draft government contract to the Petitioner.

As a result of the investigation, the FAS Russia's Commission found the complaint justified. FAS Russia did not issue a determination because the government contract had already been concluded.
