OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 March 2009 was announced, that more than a hundred cottages are currently being designed within the program aimed at developing cottages for large families in Moscow.

Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow Mayor, head of Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow, reminded on March 14 that a number of such facilities were commissioned in 2008.

According to the official, the site for the further development of cottages has been allocated and the work on expanding this area is going on. Speaking about the commencement of construction, Mr Resin noted that it was necessary to have the designs elaborated and when they were approved, City Hall would search for funds for the building.

The first deputy Moscow Mayor added that all of construction documents on the cottages in Zakharyino village, 400-500 metres from Shcherbinka township of Moscow, would be worked out in 2009. The heading work is to be done within the same time frame.

A little over 100 cottages are to be erected in the area near Shcherbinka.
