OREANDA-NEWS. On July 22, 2009 the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Agency for Consumer Rights and Human Well-Being), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Rospotrebnadzor unreasonably set an exhaustive list of organisations and agencies authorised to provide paid educational services for training specialists in working with hazardous waste under the programme "Collection, use, decontamination transportation and disposal of hazardous waste in medical and preventive treatment facilities".

The requirement was established by 2.1.7.728-99Sanitary Regulations and Norms.

The case will be heard on 5th August 2009.
