OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2009. Kristoffer Lindberg, Head of Merchant Banking in Estonia,  has decided to move back to Finland where he will take the position of Client Executive for the Financial Institutions segment in MB Helsinki, reported the press-centre of SEB.

After 2 years as Head of Merhant Banking in SEB Estonia, Kristoffer Lindberg moves back to SEB Finland where he has worked in various positions since 1994.

Kristoffer Lindberg:“ Life is about setting the priorities right. After two years of commuting between work in Tallinn and my family in Helsinki, I have decided to move back to Finland to continue my career in SEB Group there. My job in Estonia has been a valuable and unforgettable experience. We have faced stong head-winds from the deep recession in the Baltics but I am convinced SEB is the bank that will come out as the strongest, when the economy eventually turns around. SEB Estonia has a strong and highly motivated team whom I will surely miss."

"I thank Kristoffer for the work he has done and we have all appreciated his international banking experience. I wish him all the best luck for the future" says Ahti Asmann, CEO of SEB Estonia. Kristoffer Lindberg will continue on his duties as Head of MB and member of Management  Board of SEB Estonia until mid-September. Vacant position of Head of MB Estonia will be published on Intranet.

"We are pleased to welcome Kristoffer back to SEB Finland and CRM. His broad banking knowledge and good understanding of the client client base will benefit the franchise and help drive the business forward." says Jukka Honkaniemi, Head of CRM in Finland.
