OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2009. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) fined the "Popov Radio Manufacturing Plant" Omsk Production Association" OJSC 500,000 Rubles for failure to present information, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS Russia requested information as part of the antimonopoly investigation of a complaint of "Elektroapparat" OJSC.

Under Article 25 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", FAS Russia requested document and information, necessary to investigate the above complaint, from "Popov Radio Manufacturing Plant" OJSC.

"Popov Radio Manufacturing Plant" OJSC failed to present all requested information to FAS Russia and was fined.

The fine does not constitute the grounds for not presenting information. "Elektroapparat" OJSC must submit information in full for the purposes of FAS Russia's investigation.
