OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2009. Moscow Investment Group placed a sawmill equipment order with Jartek for its woodworking plant project in Komi region.

At the moment of launch, the sawmill capacity will be around 100,000 cubic meters of lumber, in 2010 it is planned to double this capacity. The company also plans to invest in further timber processing, preliminary agreement with Jartek concerning this matter is already achieved.

Jartek will deliver the whole production line, except for sawing machines which the company bought directly with Veisto Oy.

The estimated cost of the project is Eur 10 million. The equipment will be delivered this autumn, the launch of the mill is scheduled for spring 2010.
