OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2009. PeterStar, a leader of the market of telecommunication services in the Northwest Region, being part of the Synterra Group of Companies, announces the signing of a contract with the Federal Customs Service (FCS) in the Vyborgski Area of the Leningrad Region, reported the press-centre of PeterStar.

Within the scope of the contract, on the basis of its own fiber optics infrastructure PeterStar will integrate the Service’s units in Vyborg and Svetogorsk in a departmental communication network.

It should be mentioned that this contract just continues the cooperation between PeterStar and the Federal Customs Service in the Vyborgki Area that has been already lasting for more than five years.

All jobs for the FCS are carried out by PeterStar’s Vyborg affiliate that was opened in 2000 and renders telephone communication and Internet access services to commercial and budgetary organizations in the Vyborg and Priozersk Areas of the Leningrad Region. The affiliate’s services are used by organizations such as OAO Vyborgsky Shipyard, the Vysotsk Port, OAO Vyborgskaya Cellulose and other.
