OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2010. For four consecutive years Sampo Pank’s service quality has been ranked number one in the banking sector by TNS Emor. In 2009 Sampo Pank won not only the title of the best bank, but also the title of the best corporation in Estonia, reported the press-centre of Sampo Pank.

Every year TNS Emor measures the service quality of Estonian organizations and companies and ranks them according to service quality. The Estonian Service Index surveys are conducted by way of mystery or test shopping by three service channels: direct service, telephone service and care lines.

„The bank as a service company should attribute importance to long-term customer relationships. Service level has been and will be a key factor influencing customers’ decisions in the selection of service companies. Also, service has been and continues to be one of Sampo Pank’s priorities”, affirms Tonu Vanajuur, Personal and Retail Banking director of Sampo Pank.

The customer loyalty program ISEKAS or SelfB (i.e. myself and beneficially) which was launched last autumn has enabled to further improve the service level of Sampo Pank. All customers who have joined the loyalty program can use the services of a personal advisor – a person who the customer can always turn to and who knows his/her needs and can give beneficial advice.

„The customer need not communicate with the bank as an impersonal counterparty any more and be served by different service providers. Thanks to the ISEKAS program the customer can call or write directly to his/her personal advisor. According to common practice, only the wealthiest customers can enjoy the privilege of personal service. However, we are of the opinion that every customer deserves the best service. High service level must be a priority of every company who values its customers. It's a way of showing gratitude to customers for selecting the company's products or services,“ admits Vanajuur, while explaining the importance of service.
