OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2010. TNK-BP has paid 12.24 million roubles in taxes into the budget of Uvat district in Tyumen region, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.      

According to Oleg Chemezov, Vice President of TNK-BP Management and Director of TNK-BP’s Sibir Branch in Tyumen, this is 50% more than planned. Thanks to this revenue from TNK-BP, Uvat is the only unsubsidized municipality in Tyumen region.

TNK-BP owns 13 licence blocks in the south of Tyumen region that have been amalgamated to form the Uvat project. This year, production from five fields – Urnenskoe, Ust-Tegusskoe, Kalchinskoe, Severo-Kachkarskoe and Tyamkinskoe – under development by TNK-Uvat has already topped 1 million tons. More than 4 million tons will be produced from the Uvat fields by the end of the year.
