OREANDA-NEWS. On 26th April 2010, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) will hear a case against "Olimpiiskaya Panorama" CJSC for the signs of violating Clause 1 Parte 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" (prohibiting fixing or maintaining prices (rates), discounts, mark-ups, extra charges), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS Russia initiated the case on 9th April 2010 upon a complaint from a physical person about possible violations by "Olimpiiskaya Panorama" CJSC of the antimonopoly legislation: abusing market dominance when the company was offering services for distributing tickets for Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver for the customers in the Russian Federation.

To verify petitioner's information, the Antimonopoly Service carried out an unscheduled inspection checking compliance of "Olimpiiskaya Panorama" CJSC with the antimonopoly law and made a decision to initiate the case.
