High speed Internet access under Kazakhtelecom JSC technical support have been organized for the development of Internet and constant move to more perspective access technologies in Kazakhstan-Britain technical University in Almaty. Now students of the university can use Internet both in administrative building and hostel that allows improving the education process in the university, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

Kazakhtelecom JSC provides access to internal Kazakhtelecom JSC resources in administrative building of the university at a speed up to 1 GB/s and up to 16GB/s to external resources for stimulating Kazakhstan content development. Also speed Internet parameters have been organized in KBTU hostel.

It shall be noted that KBTU is oriented to preparing professional personnel for the leading sectors of economy: oil and gas, information and financial. Also this university is popular as core higher educational institution, specialized on qualified IT specialists training. Some popular Kaznet resources are created by former graduates of the university. Now the present students, per se, the future IT-gene pool of the country is secured with conditions for applying their abilities and talents during the studying process.

Due to company's plans, the level of KBTU Internetization will be an example for other higher institutions to be oriented to high speed access to internal Kazakhtelecom JSC resources.

Project for high speed Internet organization in educational institutions will allow extending qualitative Kaznet content by filling in e-libraries, e-collections of tutorials, lections and developing e-learning and remote seminars and open lessons.
