In 2009 Internet acquiring turnover in Priorbank totaled 1,3 billion Belarusian rubles (BYR) whereas in Q1 of 2010 it exceeded the annual amount of 2009, Valery Boiko, the deputy head of the electronic maintenance channels and sales department reported at a news conference held by the bank on Friday 23rd, 2010. In 2010 Priorbank estimates Belarusian Internet acquiring market capacity at 5-7 million EUR and expects a double increase in 2011, reported the press-centre of Priorbank.

“The service was launched in 2009 and despite the fact that some major banks banned the Internet transactions with their cards, we exceeded last year’s volume in a very short period of time which proves that e-commerce is in high demand,” – Boiko said.

Boiko noted that leading services are transfers to deposits up to 32%, payments for cell communication equal to 19%, utility payments - 16% and payments for software and flowers account up to 25%.
