OREANDA-NEWS. May 18, 2010. Belarus’ internal debt increased 0.5% on the month in March to 8.335 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of April 1, 2010, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told.

Belarus’ internal debt rose 3.1% in the first three months in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 448 billion rubles in January-March 2010, or 1.4% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 28.7%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 71.3%.
