OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2010. State support for Belarusian companies amounted to 227.151 billion Belarusian rubles (Br) in January-March 2010, according to the website of the Finance Ministry.

Budget loans and credits amounted to 5.662 billion rubles, down 47.7%, partial payment of interests on bank loans from the state budget to 16.968 billion rubles, up 68.2%, respites to make payments to the state budget and Social Security Fund reached 163.16 billion rubles, up 13 times, and tax credits were at 8.337 billion rubles, up 129.5 times.

Furthermore, the Finance Ministry met its obligations under the government guarantees for bank loans totaling 26.827 billion rubles, up 380%.

Agricultural producers received 26.323 billion rubles in support, up 7.8 times, or them 17.791 billion rubles of government guarantees under loan agreements.

Organizations with the Ministry of Architecture and Construction received 15.158 billion rubles in support, Bellegprom enterprises received 10.922 billion rubles in state support.

Bellesbumprom concern accounted for 8.802 billion rubles’ worth of state support.

The Industry Ministry received 7.968 billion rubles of state support.

Organizations subordinate to local authorities received 146.119 billion rubles of support.

Other corporate entities received 11.857 billion rubles of state support.
