According to the order of Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport dated March, 29th, 2010 № AD-50-r laser blind-type beacon “Anemon-3” withdrawn from FSE “Administration of the Seaport of Tuapse” operational management was fixed after FSUE “Rosmorport” on the right of economic authority and according to the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated April, 16th, 2010 № 180 transferred to the Tuapse branch of the enterprise, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.

Laser blind-type beacon “Anemon-3” serves for ship steering in narrow waterways including steering in low visibility and helps to increase navigation safety in bad conditions (harbor approaches, etc.).

The principle of its functioning based on solving the new visual task for navigator: to provide simultaneous viewing of two cross-positioned blinking laser lights.

At course deviation the simultaneousness is broken and running light effect appears, indicating the direction for return to the waterway. Laser blind-type beacon “Anemon-3” is proprietary Russian product that has no foreign analogs.

Laser blind-type beacon has the following advantages as compared to common blind-type beacons:

Ability of mounting on one or two signs situated crossing the waterway direction along the coastline;

Higher precision;

Higher visibility in bad weather conditions (haze, rain) and with coastal backlights.
