OREANDA-NEWS. July 29, 2010. According to representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM), the researches were started on the basis of the corresponding decree of the ASM on the analysis of Moldavian wine products for dibutylphthalate revelation.

In the frame of the ASM Institute of Geology and Seismology, Theoretical and Practical Institute of Gardening and Food Technologies and National Alcohol Products Quality Control Canter a new research project was started. It is aimed to determine the dibutylphthalate content in Moldavian wines, possible ways of wine contamination with phthalates, metabolism of phthalic acid, etc.

It is planned that the specialists will formulate the scientifically grounded recommendations to avoid the contamination of grapes and wine by dibutylphthalates, to determine the maximum allowable concentration of dibutylphthalate in wine, phthalates content in wines produced in other countries.
