OREANDA-NEWS. September 6, 2010. Belarus increases milk, kefir, sour cream, and curd cheese selling prices 2% a month in August and September 2010, in accordance with resolution #124 of the Economy Ministry dated August 16, 2010.

Milk prices are set between 872 Belarusian rubles (Br) and 1,540 rubles per liter, kefir prices 904 rubles and 1,433 rubles per liter, sour cream prices between 3,502 rubles and 6,648 rubles per kilo, and curd cheese prices between 5,300 rubles and 6,883 rubles per kilo.

In July, ceiling prices for milk, kefir, sour cream and curd cheese were raised 3% to compensate for the rise in procurement prices for dairy, cattle and swine.
