OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2010. ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded a contract for insurance coverage of civil liability of the St. Petersburg Socio-Economic Institute, an organizer of the annual Women’s Ten run, held on 11 September 2010 on Dvortsovaya Square in St. Petersburg. The contractual insurance amount is 1 mln roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

OJSC IC ROSNO has drawn the civil liability insurance contract in favour of the third parties whose life, health and/or property may be damaged in course of the event. The contract covers the risks which may arise in case of unintentional errors committed during preparation of the event, in case of equipment shortage or shortcomings in operation and maintenance of the buildings, etc. The contract will be valid for the duration of the run (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

The track and field run "Women’s Ten" is an annual celebration of beauty and health, organized under the auspices of the St.Petersburg Government, St.Petersburg Sports and Fitness Committee, St.Petersburg Social Policy Committee, and all of the city’s district administrations. The starting and final point of the route is the Dvortsovaya Square, and this 10-km run passes through central avenues and quays of St. Petersburg.

This is the fourth consecutive year that ROSNO is cooperating with the marathon organizer — the St. Petersburg Socio-Economic Institute. The goals of the International Track and Field Run "Women’s Ten", such as popularizing healthy lifestyle and promoting regular sports exercises among women, are in line with ROSNO’s socially responsible business policy, including its policy of supporting the Russian sports. The company has insured many Russian sporting clubs and teams, various sports federations, and professional sporting leagues.
