OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2010. A representative delegation of the Turkmen oilmen headed by Annaguly Deryayev, Chairman of Turkmenneft State Concern, visited TATNEFT during the period. Turkmen guests met with the top management of the Company and discussed the production program of the Service Contract signed in August of the current year and the perspectives for further cooperation, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

During the visit the Turkmen delegation got familiarized with a number of production facilities of TATNEFT's activity and with modern technologies, as well as with the equipment applied in the Company. They visited the service centers of TATNEFT Group of Companies, as well as workshops for the production of metal/plastic pipes, and wells, equipped with chain drives and the units for co-mingled operation.

The Turkmen delegation visited the drilling crew, where they familiarized the processes of wells drilling, including the techniques applied for side tracking. The guests were presented the process of protective coating application on the line pipes and tubing at the Bugulma Mechanical Factory. New technologies developed by the scientists of the Company were presented to the Turkmen delegation by the management of TatNIPIneft R&D Institute.

The visitors got interested in the comprehensive work with personnel carried out in TATNEFT, which allows to successfully compete with Russian, as well as with global oil companies. To this end, they familiarized with the Company’s system of vocational education including training and advanced training of workers, specialists and managers. The guests visited a Personnel Training Centre of TATNEFT, and a training site of NGDU Elkhovneft, which is a structural division of the Company, and mechanical workshops. During the visit the delegation of GK Turkmenneft met with the students from Turkmenistan studying in Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute, and visited the social facilities of TATNEFT.

The Turkmen side highly appreciated productive and social activities of the Company and noted that rich experience, innovative potential and the high professionalism of TATNEFT open broad prospects for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

Relations between TATNEFT and GK Turkmenneft are developing in the framework of cooperation based on the provisions of the relevant Agreement between the Republics of Tatarstan and Turkmenistan dated June 28, 2008, and the Protocol on cooperation in the oil and gas field signed by TATNEFT and Turkmenneft State Concern in July 2008.

The subject of the Service Contract signed between the Parties is the provision of services aimed at oil recovery enhancement of the existing well stock and further usage of the potential for crude oil production from Goturdepe oil field. The Contract duration is 7 years.
