OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2010. Traditionally held on the initiative of the President, the International Uzbek Cotton Fair promotes demand for high quality domestic fiber. Today, many prestigious companies in the world are working closely with Uzbekistan in the field of processing of raw cotton. As a result, a number of processing plants were put into operation in the country.

Launched in 2009, the Daka tex company processes more than 3,400 tons of fiber, said the General Director of the enterprise Ejad Suleymanov. “By 2015, we plan to increase the volume by 4,000 tons through procurement of additional equipment.”

Most of the yarn is exported abroad. Particularly, over 7,000 tons of production was realized to Turkey and Russian since the launch of the company. Over 1,800 tons of yarn, most of which was sent to export, was produced during the past period of 2010.

The computerized equipment plays an important role in providing high quality products. Dozens of young people master their skills for effective use of new technologies.
