OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2010. Within the framework of the program for the support of small business National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity (NBU) is actively working on consideration and financing of projects on utilization of credit lines of foreign banks and financial institutions, off-budget funds and own assets.

Thus, the bank used foreign credit lines to finance 238 projects worth USD 555.2 million, out of them projects worth a total of USD 321.38 million were financed during nine months of 2010.

Moreover, the bank used own capital in national currency to issue credits worth 276.7 billion soums and off-budget funds – to extend 1.2 billion soums. For nine months of 2010 the bank extended microcredits worth 31.8 billion soums.
