Belarus’ consumer prices went up 0.9% in November, compared with 1.1% on the month in October, 1.6% in September, 0.6% in August 2010, 0.3% in July, 0.2% in June, 0.8% in May, 0.7% in April, 1.1% in March, 0.5% in February and 0.8% in January, an official in the National Statistics Committee told.

Prices rose 8.9% in January-November 2010, compared with 8.7% in January-November 2009.

In annualized terms, that is, November on November, consumer prices rose 10.5%, which compares to 9.8% in the period November 2008 through November 2009.

Food prices rose 1.6% in November 2010 and 11.3% in January-November 2010, non-food prices went up 0.4% and 7%, and consumer services prices increased 0.1% and 5.7%.

In 2009, inflation accelerated 10.1%. The forecast for 2010 stands at 9%-10%.
