OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2011. As of December 31, 2009, the share of unfavorable credits in the banking system was 16.38%, according to the National Bank of Moldova. The share of unfavorable credits in the total normative capital as of the end of December 2010 made up 49.46%, down 6.61 p.p. for a year (56.07% as of the end of December 2009).

At the same time, unfavorable assets as of the end of 2010 constituted just 8.98% of all assets (+0.15 p.p. against December 2009) and 58.32% of the total normative capital (+1.49 p.p.). The share of overdue and interest free credits in the total volume of credits in 2010 decreased by 6.41 p.p. – to 11.25%, that in the total normative capital – by 18.72 p.p. – to 41.73%.

The share of industrial and commercial credits in 2010 reduced by 0.19 p.p. – to 51.41%, the share of agricultural credits and credits of food industry declined by 1.03 p.p. – to 14.85%.

The share of credits for real estate, building and development decreased by 0.21 p.p. – to 12.33%, the share of consumer credits reduced by 0.33 p.p. – to 8.4%, the share of fuel-energy credits increased by 0.32 p.p. in 2010 – to 3.61%.
