The external audit of ROSNO’s Data Security Control System (DSCS) held in late January 2007 by BSI has once again proved its compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005.

The DSCS is an element of ROSNO’s general management system; it covers all of the company’s business processes. This system comprises organizational, procedural and technical means that allow minimizing risks and threats traditional for an insurance company, including: breach of confidentiality (theft and loss of information, including personal information of the company’s clients), data access violations (blocking and deletion), data integrity violations (unauthorized and uncontrolled modification, false data intrusion). The top-priority DSCS function is to protect customer data and customer service information against unauthorized access.

"In the present conditions, implementation and improvement of data security systems is imperative, especially for financial institutions and insurance companies. The maximum protection of the personal data of the clients and business partners of insurance companies ensures that our company enjoys their trust and loyalty. The certification of ROSNO’s DSCS for compliance with international standards demonstrates our business partners, investors and clients that data protection and information security are of top priority for our company", comments Mr. Anatoly Mordvinov, head of the Division for Technical Protection of Information, in charge for DSCS operation.
