OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2011. From now on clients of Ukrsotsbank, who are the owners of payment cards, have the possibility to save their time due to implementation of new service by Ukrsotsbank in its own ATM network – distant connection of SMS-banking, reported the press-centre of Ukrsotsbank.

Head of Alternative Channels Retail Business of Ukrsotsbank Igor Belokon comments on advantages of new service for the clients: “Service is convenient first of all for its timesaving characteristic. There is no necessity to go to branch, just tap into by means of any ATM, at any convenient time that doesn’t depend on branches’ working hours, including self-service rooms in the branches that work round the clock.

You simply choose menu option “Other services” in home menu of ATM, then “Join SMS-banking” option and enter your phone number. Within 24 hours your phone will be tap into the service. Through SMS-banking client obtains possibility to get information of committed transactions, transfers, new services and actions of the Bank. Besides that, there is a chance to conduct some active operations, for example, to request for remaining balance or to transfer money into another card”.

As of 1 February 2011 the service cost of “daily subscription fee for providing SMS-banking service” is equal to 3 hryvna per month. For premium—card owners this service is included into opening and annual fee.

The new service of ATM network is one of the first steps of the Bank in implementing multichannel banking project that is to strengthen interconnection with client and substantially improve service quality.
