OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2011. It was said by the Chairman of the Administrative Board of the bank Horia Ciorcila at the meeting with Moldova’s Prime Minister Vladimir Filat, adding that the Transilvania bank had come earlier to the Moldovan market with a leasing company, currently holding 15% of the market, and its activity is efficient, according to the Moldovan Government’s press service.

Horia Ciorcila said that as the economic recession has been recovered and given its rich experience, the Romanian bank’s leadership is thinking very seriously about expansion of the bank’s activity in Moldova as well. According to him, the bank could launch a number of original services in the Moldovan market and attract new businessmen to the country.

Vladimir Filat thanked the Transilvania bank’s leadership for its interest in Moldova, stressing that our country needs investments and diversification of bank services. Prime Minister emphasized that it is the banking system that is the locomotive that has to create value added as a result of the economic growth.
